Enjoying Florida in MBTs
This is my favorite time of the year in Florida. The temperature ranges from 60 to 80 degrees and sunny days are abundant. Azaleas bloom everywhere in pink and white colors…..but only for a couple of months. These are the best walking days and I am grateful for each and every one. I notice too, that more people seem to be smiling. I think we sleep better with our windows open. We are more comfortable, but mostly because we are meant to be outside enjoying all that nature offers. There is something about being alive that draws us to the outdoors. It positively affects our body and mind. Being outside is invigorating. I even think of the alligators and turtles who creep out from their water homes and bask in the sunshine on the shoreline. My pup loves his two hour ritual lying outside on our porch step in the mornings. In the cooler weather, he is much more playful and energized.
This past weekend, I worked in one of the most beautiful little towns in the country……Mt. Dora, Florida. It was an outdoor arts and crafts festival and even though we worked from dawn to dusk, I was having fun introducing people to MBT. We walked, we strolled, and even danced. It was a beautiful weekend. We were able to introduce more people to MBT who will now be taking to the streets more often and longer than ever before because they feel better. All day long, people were commenting on the relief the MBTs gave them from nagging discomfort in their heels, backs, knees and/or hips.
It’s an even better life in MBT’s!
